200 girls volunteers endure catastrophe response coaching in Hyderabad

Round 200 girls Civil Defence volunteers participated within the third day of the second batch of a five-day Civil Defence Volunteers Coaching Programme organised by the Telangana Hearth, Catastrophe Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Division at Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Ladies’s College in Koti right here on Wednesday.

The programme is geared toward strengthening the capabilities of Civil Defence volunteers to reply successfully to disasters, emergencies and different public security incidents throughout Telangana. Along with the volunteers, 20 members of the college’s administration, school and workers attended the coaching programme.

Members obtained each theoretical and sensible coaching in catastrophe preparedness, emergency response, hearth security, first support, rescue methods, evacuation procedures and neighborhood consciousness to enhance their means to assist the administration throughout emergencies.

The day’s technical classes lined LPG cylinder leak administration and hearth security measures, the operation of moveable hearth extinguishers, high-rise firefighting methods, together with an illustration of the Flip Desk Ladder (TTL) hydraulic platform automobile, in addition to a mock evacuation train and a stay hearth demonstration.

Officers stated the sensible classes and demonstrations have been geared toward enhancing the volunteers’ understanding of emergency response mechanisms and catastrophe administration methods by hands-on expertise.

The five-day coaching programme, which concludes on July 10, consists of classroom classes, stay demonstrations, mock drills and sensible workout routines to develop a skilled Civil Defence volunteer pressure able to helping in catastrophe administration and public security initiatives throughout the State.

The programme was attended by college Vice-Chancellor Surya Dhananjay, together with Deepika from the Division of Bodily Schooling and senior officers of the Telangana Hearth, Catastrophe Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Division.
