Kurnool: All 19 our bodies of the victims who died within the personal journey bus fireplace accident in Kurnool district have been handed over to their respective households after completion of DNA profiling in Vijayawada, an official stated on Monday.
As many as 19 passengers have been charred to demise within the early hours of Friday after the bus collided with a two-wheeler at Chinnatekuru village in Kallur mandal.
The bus was carrying 44 passengers, a number of of whom managed to flee the blaze.
DNA samples have been collected from all victims and saved in chilly storage to make sure correct preservation till they reached the Forensic Sciences Laboratory (FSL) in Vijayawada, the official stated.
“All 19 our bodies have been handed over after the completion of the formalities,” Kurnool district IncomeDivisional Officer Sandeep Kumar advised PTI.
The members of the family of victims from Bihar and Tamil Nadu determined to cremate the our bodies in Andhra Pradesh, for which the state authorities made vital preparations, he stated.
In the meantime, the Telangana authorities has already began distributing the introduced ex-gratia, whereas Andhra Pradesh is within the strategy of doing the identical, the official added.
