Murungai keerai podi (spiced) for rice, even good to go along with idli dosa. Fast video, step-by-step photos.

I purchased Murungai keerai podi in a restaurant store after stopping there for breakfast. It was so good and flavourful. I knew it had some tamarind in it and was pondering I couldn’t make it at residence. Thought making powder out of drumstick leaves shall be difficult. However after me telling amma I purchased the podi, she gave me pure murungai keerai powder she made herself at residence.

Later I by no means tried it to make podi as I used it for normal dishes I make – sambar, kootu, adai. Even poriyal makes uncommon look. This time although I purchased for making adai, I had some left, so was decided to make podi as my inventory of all podi was additionally over. I made it adapting from my curry leaves rice recipe powder half.
