Delhi’s chief electoral officer on Sunday stated that no written complaints had been discovered on the claims made by Aam Aadmi Celebration chief Arvind Kejriwal about Bharatiya Janata Celebration employees intimidating and harassing his social gathering volunteers within the New Delhi Meeting constituency.
The Meeting elections in Delhi shall be held on Wednesday. The votes shall be counted on February 8.
Earlier on Sunday, Kejriwal alleged that BJP supporters had attacked employees of his social gathering. He demanded that the Election Fee appoint unbiased observers to observe the polls in his New Delhi constituency
In a letter to the chief election commissioner, the previous chief minister sought safety for his social gathering volunteers and the suspension of cops for allegedly failing to stop the assaults.
Kejriwal is contesting from the New Delhi constituency in opposition to the BJP’s Parvesh Verma and the Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit. He has represented the seat since 2015 and from 2013 to 2014.
